The Lockpick as a Prosthetic |
|
| Anyone picking a lock presumably knows all of the parts involved on the interior, pins, springs, a shear line, etc... but there are inevitably unknowns, such as how far apart the tumblers are and how much pressure the springs are appying. Taking this into consideration as well as the mosaic composition on the site, Prisor Hill, glass was used to begin the physical exploration for this project. Knowing that you will be assembling shards of shattered glass leaves the unknowns of their sizes and geometries. | Ian Black |
